Sean ‘Chops’ Rainey hosts a disco dance contest while belting STAYIN’ ALIVE!
While nearing his 67th birthday, The Boss is showing no signs of slowing down. Long known for putting on the longest concerts in rock, last night Bruce Springsteen pushed the envelope yet again. At his hometown stadium, the Met Life arena in New Jersey, he clocked in at three hours and fifty two minutes.
A monster set that contained 35 songs, and closed with a fireworks display, it was a return to form for the blue-collar rocker. In earlier years, Springsteen concerts would run for nearly two hours, break for an intermission, and return for another full set of music.
For those of us who perform three hour, nonstop, Dueling Pianos shows, this certainly raises the bar. We have our work cut out for us…
